No smoking for at least 3 days prior to surgery. Ideally, stopping any/all tobacco use is always recommended.

The use of alcohol or recreational drugs (including marijuana) should be avoided prior to sedation/anesthesia. Intoxication from these substances would prevent us from being able to obtain consent for treatment. Additionally, their use can lead to complications during surgery, including death. Please discontinue the use of such substances for at least 72 hours prior to your procedure.
-
Please inform staff if you have had any changes to your health history, including cough, cold, fever, infection, changes to your medication, or recent surgery.
